Behavior Specialist

  • Job Summary:

  • The Behavior Specialist serves as the primary consultant for providing technical assistance to staff, faculty, students, and families regarding the behavioral needs of students in the classroom environment. Behavior Specialists may perform functional behavior assessments, collect data, develop, and monitor implementation of behavior intervention plans to ensure access for students with emotional or behavioral problems and related disorders, and provide consultation services to staff, outside agencies, and families regarding the behavioral needs of students.
  • Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • - Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field

  • - Registered Behavior Technician or Behavior Analyst Certification (preferred)

  • Location:

  • Arlington, Mansfield, Fort Worth, Crowley, and DeSoto, TX

  • - Remote, PRN, and/or Campus-Based positions
