Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Specialist
- Job Summary:
- The Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Specialist serves as the primary consultant for providing comprehensive services to children with visual impairments in the school setting. The O&M serves as the specialist for establishing or maintaining one’s position and mobility, as in the process of moving safely and efficiently, within their environment.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Valid Type 10 Certificate in Blind and Partially Seeing with O & M Endorsement OR AER Certification
- Relevant experience or working knowledge of orientation and travel skills (preferred)
- Pediatric or school-based experience (preferred)
- Location:
- Arlington, Mansfield, Fort Worth, Crowley, and DeSoto, TX
- - Remote, PRN, and/or Campus-Based positions
