Course Overview
For nearly two decades, consultants and organizations have relied on the scientifically valid and reliable EQ-i 2.0® and EQ 360® assessments to assess emotional intelligence and enhance effective communication, foster meaningful relationships, and develop resilient coping mechanisms.
This certification program, authorized by Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS), is designed to help you gain the skills and confidence to administer, interpret, and use the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ360 assessments for coaching and development.
What’s Included in your Certification
- EQ-i 2.0 self-assessment and debriefing session with an MHS-approved Trainer
- 3 online pre-work modules (~1 hour)
- 16 hours of Trainer-led certification in how to administer, interpret, and use the assessments as a coaching and development tool
- Access to the online MHS Talent Assessment Portal (TAP) to purchase and administer the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 assessments and reports
- THE EQ EDGE book (3rd Edition) by Steven Stein, MHS’s founder, and Howard Book
Learning Objectives
- Define emotional intelligence and its importance
- Describe the components of the EQ-i2.0 and the EQ360, including defining composite scales and subscales
- Understand the science behind the EQ-i2.0 and EQ360
- Describe best practices around administering and providing feedback on the EQ360, and 360 tools in general
- Interpret an EQ-i2.0 and EQ360 assessment
- Administer the EQ-i2.0and EQ360
- Follow a structured approach to preparing for a feedback session
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct an effective assessment debrief session
- Explain the benefits of EI to their client groups
- Describe how EI applies to different disciplines
- Identify the ethics pertaining to the EQ-i2.0 and EQ360
- Identify resources available post-certification
- Assess which report type is appropriate for their client
By completing this certification program, you will receive 14.5 CE*/PD** Credits.
