Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Job Summary:

  • The Board Certified Behavior Analyst serves as the primary consultant for providing technical assistance to staff, faculty, students, and families regarding the behavioral needs of students in the classroom environment or personnel within the organization through the lens of Applied Behavior Analysis. Board Certified Behavior Analysts may perform functional behavior assessments, collect data, develop, and monitor implementation of behavior intervention plans to ensure access for students with emotional or behavioral problems and related disorders, and provide consultation services to staff, outside agencies, and families regarding the behavioral needs of students. To support the organization, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst may conduct a customized evaluation to assess the needs of the organization, provide leadership training, collect data, develop, and monitor an intervention plan. This position may assign and/or supervise the work of certified therapy assistants.
  • Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • - Professional licensure as a Behavior Analyst through the State Board of Licensing and Regulation.

  • - Master's degree in Psychology or Doctorate in a related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)

  • - Pediatric or school-based experience (preferred)
